All submissions must be original work that has not been previously published elsewhere, either in print or online such as on a blog, forum, or personal website.
We no longer accept simultaneous submissions.
We no longer accept reprints.
We do not accept any work generated by Artificial Intelligence.
We only wish to deal with humans and highlight human creativity.
We only accept submissions using Duosuma.
Formerly-accepted contributors to DILIM Press anthologies are not eligible for subsequent anthologies;
however, please access our other projects inside Duosuma.

Work containing excessive violence or graphic content without literary merit.
Work created using generative AI (don't do this in general).
Plagiarized material.
Work that has already been published (a blog, Substack, e-mail newsletter, social media, or your own website is considered published).
Work that is incomplete.
Work that requires very strong editing.

DILIM Press requests:
1. First North American publication rights.
2. First Republic of Philippines publication rights.
3. Non-exclusive online rights on our website.
All Copyright is retained by the author.

Authors are free to resell or reprint the work, although we do request a two year exclusive from our first publication.
We ask that whenever an author reprints a piece that first appeared in our volume, DILIM Press is acknowledged as the work’s original publisher.
We pay for accepted work at 7 cents per word.

Our reading team reads your work and reviews suitability and availability for the project theme.
Many excellent pieces are not accepted in each cycle. We encourage writers to try again.
We attempt to respond within 4-6 weeks, although some cycles are longer. Our statistics are on Duosuma.
You will receive a response from the team.
If accepted, we set up a contributor folder with all details, and a draft contribution agreement to review and sign.
Payment is sent via electronic means (Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle, or in some cases paper check) after publication.
Authors are connected to an author-only Discord for ongoing support and networking.
